Merry Christmas! Here are your presents…

You may have noticed my blog posts have been a bit sporadic over the past 2 months which, as you might have gathered, has been down to my lack of internet where I’m staying in London at the moment. The good news is, I’ll be in a great new place with actual internet as of 2013, so you can expect some more varied and researched content as of next month.

This will also be my last blog post of 2012 because I’ll be on holiday from Thursday… in Thailand! I’ve never been out of the country at Christmas before but I’m sold on the heat thing alone. Also, Thailand looks like a beautiful country, so I’ll probably share some pictures with you all on my return.

I’ll do my best to keep you tied over until the new year though…

If you haven’t already, you can still enter the fantastic Third Window Films DVD giveaway which is running right up until New Year’s. A big thanks to the distributors for providing the prize, Isn’t Anyone Alive?

Also, I stumbled across some amazing photos last week that I’ll share with you. These were taken by photographer Fubirai, who spent 5 years photographing the semi-wild cats living on the fabled ‘Cat Island’ in Fukuoka. There are dozens to look at but here are my three favourites…

Finally, I’ll leave you with my short video from Hyper Japan Christmas, if you haven’t seen that yet…

I promise, once I have internet again I WILL be back on schedule. Blogging is surprisingly difficult when you don’t have broadband at home…

Oh yeah, メリークリスマス ! (Merry Christmas – obviously)
