It’s January and it’s finally getting really cold, so there’s no better excuse for a competition! I wrote about the line-up for the Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme 2016 last week and the organisers are kindly providing two lucky winners a pair of tickets each! Read on for details and entry instructions…
The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme 2016 – touring across 13 venues in the UK between February and March – will provide an exciting collection of films looking at the way in which Japanese filmmakers have been observing and capturing people’s lives, and how people across the ages persevere, negotiate and reconcile with the environment and situation they live in. This year’s programme is the largest yet and will feature a mixture of classics, animation and contemporary films, catering for all audiences’ tastes! Check out the film line-up and the venues here.
How to enter:
- Show your love for Japan Foundation by liking them on Facebook or following them on Twitter.
- Comment on this blog post below (you’ll be prompted for your email address) and tell us which film you’d like to see most.
- Two winners will be drawn at random and emailed. You can then tell the organisers which film and venue your pair of tickets should be for (you can say you’d like to see a different film if you change your mind, as long as you can make the screening date)!
Get your entries in by Sunday 24 January at 9pm!
I’m going to end up seeing at least four (or five, six…) films this year, and I’m sure a lot of you will too! This is definitely the strongest line-up yet and, if you haven’t seen Japanese films on the big screen before, here’s your perfect chance.
